Thank you to Cian Hynes
After 2 years of captaincy, Cian Hynes has made the decision to step down as 1st XV and Club Captain to make way for someone to take on the role.
During what was Cian's 2nd tenure as captain, the club achieved promotion into London 3 NW, making this the 2nd time Cian has captained Hendon to promotion. Further to this, Hendon have been undefeated since early March 2019 and have added 2 more trophies to their cabinet, the Middlesex Federation Vase in 2019 and the RFU Junior Vase Regional Championship.
Hendon RFC would like to extend a big thank you to Cian for his time and dedication to the role of Captain. Cian has decided to step into a 'Social' role at the club, his 1st project being to organise a club tour.
New 1st XV Captain
We are pleased to announce that Billy Burrell has agreed to step up into the role of Captain for the 2020/2021 season. Billy joined the club in 2017 and has since played a vital role in the Clubs successes on the field. Further to his accomplishments at Hendon, Billy was selected to play for Middlesex County in the 2019.
We would like to wish Billy the best of luck in the coming season and hope he may continue the success that we have had in the past 2 years.

New Club Captain
Further to the appointment of Billy, we are also pleased to announce that Toby Ikwueke has taken on the role of Club Captain. Toby joined Hendon in 2014 has remained since, experiencing the ups and downs that the club has had in the past 6 years.
By taking on this role, Toby becomes the face of the playing side of Hendon RFC, representing the players at committee meetings, voicing concerns and being the first point of contact for players.
